I just finished a simple but interesting book about how women should finally deal with men!… Not “machista”, not “sexist”, just simply interesting… Basically the author says Men are (and have always been) simple, basic!
Men are DRIVEN by 3 things : Who he is (Title)… What he does (Job)… His Rewards (What he makes).
Hes LOVES as follows: With the need to Profess his love of his “Woman” Brag!)... To Provide for his “Loved Ones”… To Protect them…
Buts he also has basic NEEDS : Support for his “Cause”… Loyalty (instead of conflict which he deals with all the time)… and… Sex (to forget it all…)
So for a Woman, who is a lot more "complicated", and who views “relationships” in a more complex way as well, who is always in search of the “the One”… it should be simple ! Tell the guy the “ground rules”, what he can expect, the limits… and he will be “your man”!
Hmmm... Maybe thus we can avoid most of the dumb pitfalls of modern society and relationships. At least this author makes an interesting point we rarely dare speak about... and he does not try to make us all “equal”. At least he points out how much simpler things could be if we did… say it straight!
Interesting… or did I never learn those basic ground rules?
