Le Bout de l Ile...

I am sitting at the bar at Dad's old hangout on the Ile St Louis. Same owners but "Gino" is retired. Same look and feel... No Web2 standards issues or bugs... Just a place!... a location through time! No nostalgia, some regrets, but mainly a pressing desire to "understand" the purpose of all this! I never loved Paris and it has "hurt" me more than I wish to thnink about but I am mellowing in my old age and many inner frustrations are now passing. Still uneasy, uncertain about which way to go next (motor running... Mom... like you mayne...) but less negative, heavy maybe... as Mom used to say. Time heals obviously and grey hair helps sometimes! Love to you all.
